50 Cent has weighed in after Usher defended Sean “Diddy” Combs in a recent Forbes interview. In an Instagram post that quickly spread online, 50 wrote: “Usher like 😳 I don’t want people to know what he did to my ass. I’m a grown man now my ass is off limits. LOL.”
The post came after Usher was asked during his Forbes sit-down what word comes to mind when he hears Combs’ name. Usher answered, “Legacy,” and went on to say that Diddy had been “misrepresented.” He also said he did not have anything negative to say about him, adding that his own experience with Combs was not the same as what the public has seen.
Usher also framed his comments around Combs’ influence on music and business. In the interview, he credited the Bad Boy founder for what he described as valuable contributions to Black entrepreneurship, culture and the music industry, and said he still respects what he learned from him as a young artist and businessman.

The renewed attention around Usher’s remarks comes against the backdrop of Combs’ 2025 criminal trial. The music mogul was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges, but convicted on two counts tied to transportation for prostitution. He was later sentenced to 50 months in prison, and multiple outlets reported that his release date was moved up to April 2028.
Reporting on the case also noted that the trial included testimony from dozens of witnesses, along with 2016 surveillance footage showing Combs assaulting Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, which became one of the most widely discussed pieces of evidence connected to the proceedings.
At the time of writing, Usher has not publicly responded to 50 Cent’s post.
