Khloé Kardashian is not letting Lamar Odom rewrite the story.
The reality star is speaking out after Lamar appeared to push back on comments she made in his new Netflix documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, where she reflected on standing by him during his 2015 overdose and recovery. Now, after Lamar’s recent press run seemed to downplay her role, Khloé is making it clear that she was there — and that she feels disrespected by the way he’s responding.
The issue came up on an episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, where she told Malika Haqq that she only participated in the documentary as a favor to Lamar and got nothing out of it herself. Khloé said she had no personal stake in whether the film was made and made it clear it was not something she even wanted to revisit.

“I willingly do the Netflix thing for Lamar; I’m not getting one penny to do this,” she said. “I have no dog in this fight; it doesn’t matter to me if this documentary is made or not made. And it’s also something I really don’t want to talk about anymore.”
Khloé said what bothered her most was seeing Lamar go into interviews afterward and seemingly act irritated with her, while also appearing to question the truth of what she said about supporting him. According to her, it felt like he was now trying to discredit her because he did not like how viewers responded to the documentary.
“You’re not now going to s**t on me or play in my face, because you don’t like the reaction and response from the public,” she said. “Now to act like I didn’t do all of the things I did, and insinuate I’m a liar is crazy.”
Lamar’s comments that triggered the reaction came during an April 6 appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle. When asked if he believed Khloé saved his life, Lamar said she helped and took care of him, but ultimately credited God most.
“In some ways,” he said. “I think God saved my life. My Lord saved my life, honestly. She took care of me. God took care of me the most. What I came back from was like a medical miracle.”
Khloé and Lamar were married for four years before she first filed for divorce in December 2013. But when Lamar overdosed at a Nevada brothel in 2015, she halted the divorce proceedings so she could help make medical decisions during his recovery. She filed again in 2016, and their divorce was finalized in December of that year.

The two later reunited onscreen during the season 6 premiere of The Kardashians in February 2025, marking their first meeting in years. Lamar later said that reunion felt awkward for him, though he also said Khloé would always be family and that he would always have love for her — just not be in love with her.
