Webbie gave fans a serious scare after appearing to lose consciousness in the middle of a performance with longtime collaborator Boosie Badazz.

The Baton Rouge rappers were performing their Southern hip-hop classic “Wipe Me Down” at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas when Webbie suddenly collapsed onstage.

Video from the show shows the rapper appearing unsteady before going down as people nearby quickly rushed to help him.

Crew members then assisted Webbie offstage while the performance came to an abrupt stop.

The frightening moment quickly began circulating across social media, with fans sharing clips and asking for updates on Webbie’s condition.

In the footage, Webbie can be seen performing alongside Boosie before suddenly appearing to lose consciousness.

Several people immediately surrounded the rapper and helped move him backstage.

As of now, neither Webbie nor his representatives have publicly confirmed what caused the incident.

The incident immediately reminded longtime fans of another concerning moment involving Webbie several years ago.

In 2021, the rapper collapsed during a performance at a nightclub in Virginia.

At the time, rumors also circulated that Webbie had suffered a seizure.

However, a representative for the rapper later denied that a seizure caused that incident.

With his latest collapse looking similarly alarming, fans are once again waiting to hear directly from Webbie’s camp about his health.

The health scare happened as Webbie and Boosie appear to be in a much better place after years of tension between the longtime collaborators.

The two Baton Rouge artists have one of the most recognizable partnerships in Southern rap, but their friendship has not always been smooth.

In 2020, Webbie publicly criticized Boosie and questioned why his longtime friend had not supported him during a difficult period in his life.
