Latto has confirmed she is expecting her first child and used the moment to launch the next era of her music. On Thursday, March 19, she announced her upcoming album BIG MAMA and released the video for “Business & Personal (Intro)”.

Earlier that day, she had teased the reveal with a short visual of herself walking toward a baby cheetah and feeding it from a bottle. In the teaser’s voiceover, Latto says, “I ain't go missing. I had to give y'all time to miss me,” before adding, “Before you run the game, you got to take baby steps to go the distance.” She continues, “Listening to every beat, feeling every kick,” tying the rollout directly to both the pregnancy news and the album title.

In “Business & Personal (Intro),” Latto is seen flipping through baby albums in what appears to be a nursery, and at one point she says she has “a baby on the way.” It then pans to a man’s hand holding her baby bump with her.

The speculation started almost immediately after the video dropped. Viewers specifically focused on the tattoos of the hand seen holding her baby bump, with many claiming it matches 21 Savage’s hand tattoos.

Neither Latto nor 21 Savage have directly confirmed that he is the father, but the rumor did not come out of nowhere. The two have been linked since around 2020, when fans first started speculating about them after collaborating on “Pull Up,” and the rumors continued for years through matching-trip theories, repeated online clue hunting and coincidental link ups that kept people talking.

For most of that time, neither of them gave the public a clear confirmation. In August 2024, Latto shut down questions about her love life by saying, “The internet don't know a got-damn thing,” and made it clear she preferred to keep the relationship private.

Fans kept pointing to other clues anyway. In 2023, Latto was seen with a “Shéyaa” tattoo behind her ear, which matched 21 Savage’s first name, Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph.

Later reports also pointed to rumors that 21 Savage appeared to have “Alyssa,” Latto’s first name, tattooed behind his ear too.

The closest the pair came to publicly confirming their relationship was in September 2025, when Latto referred to 21 Savage as her “husband” and then called him “my man” in a TMZ clip.

Still, whether or not 21 is the baby’s father, congratulations are in order for Latto!
