Ray J and Amber Rose are clapping back after Joseline Hernandez decided to put an old College Hill rumor back on the table.

During a recent interview on her Why Are You Here TV platform, Joseline said she believed Ray J and Amber were more than friends during season two of College Hill: Celebrity Edition, pointing to how close they were in the house and how often they stayed up together after everyone else had gone to bed. The three all appeared on the BET+ series’ second season, which premiered in May 2023 and was set at Alabama State University.

Ray J appeared to catch wind of the comments almost immediately, and he did not sound amused. In a series of videos, he called Joseline out directly for continuing to bring up his name and Amber’s on different platforms. “You one of the dirtiest people I’ve ever been around,” he said. He continued, “Every other minute you either talking about me or Amber […] What’s wrong with you?”

He went on to accuse Joseline of being “always musty on the set of the show” and saying she had been messing up her brand for a while. “But you keep going and think that nobody is going to respond! You bark up this tree, and you gon’ find something up top that you don’t want,” Ray added. “This ain’t no plum tree in the summertime.”

Amber Rose then jumped in with her own response, and that is where things got even messier. On her Instagram Story, she alleged that Joseline had actually tried to hook up with her while they were filming College Hill, and that when she turned her down, the energy shifted into bullying. Amber claimed production heard those alleged attempts, even if they never made it onto the show. She also accused Joseline of lying about the situation and demanded that she “tell the truth,” before dragging politics into it too. “And why don’t you tell Black Instagram and Black Twitter that you [love] Trump. Why don’t you tell them that? Since we putting it all out there.”

Amber did not stop there. She also accused Joseline of being racist and of harassing her for not fitting her idea of how a Black woman should speak or act. “I’m not Black because I don’t speak ignorantly. That’s how you look at people Joseline? That’s racist!” she said. She continued, “You’re not even Black, you’re Puerto Rican, let’s be all the way clear.”

What makes this blow-up feel bigger than just another reality TV spat is that there is already history here. Back in March 2025, Amber publicly claimed that an off-camera fight with Joseline during their College Hill era stemmed from unwanted sexual advances that she said she rejected. Joseline denied that version of events and reportedly threatened legal action.

Furthermore, Ray J was not just another random castmate on that season; he was a returning face from season one, while Amber and Joseline both joined the season-two lineup alongside Tiffany Pollard, Iman Shumpert, O’Ryan, Parker McKenna Posey and Kwaylon Rogers. So when Joseline says she “definitely” thinks Ray and Amber were sleeping together, she is reviving tension inside a cast that already had unresolved issues.

At this point, the real story is not even whether Joseline’s theory is true. It is how quickly an old reality show dynamic can explode into a fresh public feud once everybody starts telling their own version of what happened off camera. And when the show is over but the resentment clearly is not, fans are left doing what reality TV has trained them to do best: pick a side.
