Rapper Pooh Shiesty’s latest federal run just got way more serious.
After reports first surfaced that the FBI had raided a Memphis-area home tied to the rapper’s family, the story quickly escalated on Wednesday when TMZ reported that Pooh Shiesty, born Lontrell D. Williams Jr., had been arrested in Dallas in connection to a federal criminal case. TMZ also reported that his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., was taken into custody in Memphis around the same time.
The initial scene unfolded in Cordova, Tennessee, where federal agents executed what the FBI described as a court-authorized search and arrest warrant at a home linked to the Williams family. Local reporting said agents were at the property early in the morning, and records reviewed by reporters listed the home under the name Lontrell Williams, a detail that initially left open whether the target was Pooh Shiesty or his father.
The raid comes just months after Shiesty’s release from prison in October 2025, where he served time following a firearms-related case tied to a previous shooting. After accepting a plea deal, his sentence was reduced, and since returning home, he had largely stayed out of the spotlight.
Despite that, speculation online has continued to circulate in recent months, including unverified claims regarding Gucci Mane — rumors that figures like Adam22 have publicly stood by, despite no official confirmation.

As of now, officials still have not publicly revealed the charges against either man. However, a press conference scheduled for 9 a.m. PT today may reveal more details soon.
