Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton may have just put the rumors to bed.

The pair sparked a fresh wave of attention on Monday after Hamilton posted an Instagram Reel showing Kardashian riding shotgun while he took his Ferrari F40 for a high-speed spin in Tokyo. The clip, captioned “HERE WE GO AGAIN 🇯🇵 TOKYO DRIFT VOL. III,” marked the first time the two have appeared together so openly in a post that fans are reading as a clear relationship reveal. At the end of the video, Kardashian can be heard reacting to the ride by saying, “That’s insane.”

The Reel was shot at Tokyo’s Daikoku Parking Area and leaned fully into the drama of the moment, with Hamilton behind the wheel, Kardashian in the passenger seat, and Skepta, PlaqueboyMax, and Fred again..’s “Victory Lap” playing over the footage. It was flashy, fast, and just public enough to push the story from speculation into something that looked a lot more intentional.

That post did not come out of nowhere. The two had already been linked for months, with reports of a romantic meetup in Paris in early February, a shared Super Bowl appearance soon after, and Hamilton leaving a flirty comment on Kardashian’s March 16 Instagram post. A People source also said the two were vacationing together in Tokyo with Kardashian’s children Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, along with Khloé Kardashian and her children.

It is also reported that Kardashian is “very into” Hamilton, while another source said she feels “safe” with him and is not putting pressure on the relationship. The same outlet described the connection as more than casual, noting that despite their schedules, they have been seeing each other as much as possible. Hamilton has also reportedly made a strong impression on Kardashian’s family, which only added to the sense that this was moving beyond a fleeting rumor.

Now, with the Tokyo Reel out in public, the story has shifted from “are they?” to how public they plan to be from here. A Ferrari, a camera, and one very well-timed post were apparently enough to do what weeks of sightings could not.
