Kim Scott’s latest DUI arrest has taken another public turn after newly released bodycam footage showed the ex-wife of Eminem crying during her interaction with police.

According to footage obtained by TMZ, Scott was questioned by officers after allegedly crashing into another vehicle near Detroit last week. In the video, she told police she had turned a corner when bright truck lights impaired her vision, causing the crash. When asked whether she had been drinking, Scott admitted she had consumed alcohol earlier in the evening.

The situation became more emotional after officers conducted field sobriety tests and placed Scott in handcuffs. The video shows her turning away from the camera as she begins to cry, marking a sharp contrast from the smiling mugshot that circulated after her booking.

Scott was arrested in Chesterfield Township, Michigan, and booked on a suspected DUI charge. Police reportedly alleged that her blood alcohol level was over twice the legal limit at the time of the arrest, while a separate police-report summary said an initial breath test registered at .204, more than 2.5 times Michigan’s legal limit of .08. Later tests at the station reportedly remained above the legal limit as well.

The arrest also comes at a difficult legal moment for Scott. Just days before the latest incident, she pleaded no contest to impaired driving and failure to report an accident connected to a February crash. Prosecutors said that earlier case involved Scott allegedly hitting a parked car while driving her son, Parker, and three of his friends. She is expected to be sentenced in that case next month.

Scott, who was married to Eminem twice, has remained a figure of public interest because of her long and complicated history with the rapper. The former couple share daughter Hailie Jade, while Eminem also helped raise Alaina Marie Scott and Stevie Laine Mathers.
