Drake and Travis Scott surprised fans after being spotted together at Kanye West’s Halloween concert in Houston, raising fresh questions about whether the longstanding tension between Drake and Ye is finally coming to an end.

The October 31 performance reportedly drew 80,210 attendees, setting a new U.S. attendance record for a hip-hop concert. While Playboi Carti joined Ye onstage, it was the unexpected presence of Drake and Travis Scott in the VIP section that quickly grabbed attention online.

Fan-recorded videos showed the two rappers watching the performance together. Earlier that evening, they had been photographed courtside at the Houston Rockets’ game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, wearing the same outfits later seen at the concert.

Their appearance was particularly surprising given Drake’s complicated history with Kanye West.

The two artists have spent years trading public shots, with tensions escalating during Drake’s 2018 feud with Pusha-T. Ye later entered the conversation again in 2024, releasing a remix of Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” amid Drake’s highly publicized rap battles.

However, Ye appeared to soften his stance in 2025, expressing interest in working with Drake again. Reports also suggested that he had sent Drake a track titled “Preacher Man” for his Bully project, although no official collaboration followed.

Producer Mike Dean was also reportedly spotted at the Houston concert, adding another familiar name to an already star-studded night.

For fans, Drake attending Ye’s performance represents a potentially significant development after years of public disagreements. However, neither artist has confirmed a reconciliation, and there is no indication that new music is in the works.
