Blueface’s livestream took an unexpected turn after his pregnant girlfriend, Nevaeh Akira, revealed that she had gone into labor.
The rapper was streaming from his car Monday night when he called Akira and learned that her contractions were coming roughly every two minutes.
Akira told Blueface she was already three centimeters dilated, prompting him to ask whether doctors had officially confirmed that she was in labor.
After medical staff apparently confirmed the news, Blueface turned back to his viewers with an update.
“Chat, we may be having a baby,” he said.
The rapper then told viewers he was canceling his plans for the night as he prepared for the arrival of his fourth child.

Much of the moment unfolded live in front of Blueface’s audience.
After hearing how close together Akira’s contractions were, the rapper appeared surprised and asked her to confirm the situation with medical staff.
Once it became clear that labor had started, Blueface immediately shifted his plans for the evening.
It remains unclear whether the baby has been born.
The child will be Blueface’s fourth and his first with Akira.
Nevaeh Akira’s Pregnancy Has Played Out Publicly
The labor update comes after several highly publicized moments involving Blueface and Akira throughout her pregnancy.
Just days earlier, police responded to Blueface’s home after livestream footage appeared to show him kicking the heavily pregnant Akira into a swimming pool.
Akira reportedly told responding deputies that there had been no altercation and that she was not injured.
No arrest was made.
The incident drew heavy criticism online because of how far along Akira appeared to be in her pregnancy.
Blueface and Nevaeh Akira Have Had a Tumultuous Few Weeks
The couple has also made headlines for several other livestream moments.
Earlier this month, Blueface abruptly left his home after claiming Akira was practicing “voodoo” when he found her praying near candles inside a closet.
He also previously sparked reactions after saying that the couple’s sex life had been put on hold because of Akira’s growing pregnancy belly.
