The actress recently shared an Instagram carousel captioned, “Stopping to smell the roses,” and while the post included soft, romantic details like a pink bouquet and a message about receiving the same love you give, one photo got people talking the most. The image showed Mowry’s white Converse next to another person’s white Air Force 1s, offering just enough to spark speculation without revealing who was actually standing beside her.

The post landed just days after Mowry confirmed that she is in love. While speaking to media at ESSENCE’s Black Women in Hollywood event, she smiled through questions about her love life and said she is “in love,” while also making it clear that she is keeping the relationship private. “I’m happy,” she added, giving fans confirmation without giving away too much else.

Naturally, internet sleuths into speculation mode, with many wondering whether the mystery person could actually be Cory Hardrict. Mowry and Hardrict were married for 14 years before she filed for divorce in October 2022. Their separation was finalized in April 2023, and the two share legal and physical custody of their children, Cree and Cairo. Since then, they have still appeared together at times in family and holiday moments and spoken highly of each other, which has only kept public interest in their dynamic alive.
