Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell are officially married.
The Grammy-winning singer and Cleveland Cavaliers star tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in Greenwich, Connecticut, on Saturday, Aug. 1, nearly one year after announcing their engagement.
Guests were welcomed to the reception with an enthusiastic introduction from the DJ.
“Make some noise for Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell one time! Let’s go!” he shouted as the newlyweds entered the celebration.
Ciara and Russell Wilson gave fans a glimpse inside the private event by sharing photos and videos through their Instagram Stories. One clip showed Jones and Mitchell enjoying their first dance to Musiq Soulchild’s “Love” while surrounded by family and friends.
“The Real Live Black Ken and Barbie!” Ciara captioned the video. “Yesterday was a dream! We love you guys so much!”
Ciara later shared another clip of herself and Wilson singing along to the romantic track.
“The power of love is so beautiful,” she wrote before congratulating the couple and saying she and Wilson were “so happy” for them.
The guest list also included several of Mitchell’s fellow NBA players, including Bam Adebayo, Josh Hart, Jalen Brunson and Jaylen Brown.

Videos from later in the evening showed guests filling the dance floor as Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” played. Mitchell also shared a playful clip of himself lip-syncing to Fantasia’s “When I See You” while Jones danced beside him on a baby-pink stage surrounded by flowers.
The reception featured ivory table settings, candles and large floral arrangements with soft pink accents. A circular bar stood in the center of the tent, while the couple’s four-tier wedding cake featured a custom “DC” emblem representing their first names.
Jones wore a strappy wedding gown with a corset-style bodice covered in floral crystal embellishments. Mitchell complemented her in a cream suit and custom white sneakers marked with their wedding date.
The couple were also seen feeding each other pieces of cake before continuing the celebration with their guests.
“What a night,” Mitchell wrote while sharing a look inside the reception.
Jones and Mitchell announced their engagement in July 2025 after largely keeping their relationship away from the public eye. The singer previously explained that they preferred to protect their connection rather than share every detail online.
Their wedding marks another major year for Jones, whose career has continued to rise through hit records, acting roles and award recognition. Mitchell, meanwhile, remains one of the NBA’s biggest stars as a leading player for the Cavaliers.
