What started as an awkward hangout is now playing out in public, with Trippie Redd and Ryan Garcia trading shots online.

The back-and-forth kicked off after Garcia spoke about a recent visit to Trippie Redd’s home during a livestream, saying he felt uncomfortable in the setting. “Guys, I’m sorry if it felt awkward… when you’re not smoking weed with people that are smoking weed, it feels awkward,” he said, before adding, “It was a lot of dark energy there… I could feel it.”

Garcia framed the moment as something deeper than just a bad vibe. “We’re not going to judge him at all… put the light of Jesus shining on them,” he said, describing his presence as spiritual outreach. “I hope that I plant some type of seed in him… You want me to side with the world or you want me to side with God?”

Trippie Redd responded with a series of posts on X, directly dismissing Garcia’s claims. “Ryan Garcia was off coke so bad when I first met him,” he wrote, before doubling down with sarcasm: “What makes you bright, coke?” He also shut down any talk of a fight, posting, “He mad I ain’t wanna box with his sorry ass.”

Garcia kept his reply brief, posting, “Demons are angry,” alongside prayer emojis.

The exchange adds to Garcia’s growing list of run-ins with hip-hop artists, having previously crossed paths with names like Blueface, DDG, and YG. The boxer has also stepped into music himself, releasing his first rap track in 2024.

For now, the situation remains a social media standoff — but with both sides already escalating, it’s unclear whether this stays online or spills into something bigger.
