Just when the Offset casino shooting seemed to go quiet, the FBI has pushed the story back into focus with a new batch of images from the scene.

Federal investigators this week released additional photos connected to the shooting at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, where Offset was injured during a late-night altercation. The new images show a large crowd gathered near the area where gunfire broke out, and authorities are now asking the public to help identify people who may have seen what happened.

In a statement, investigators said individuals shown in the photos “may hold key details” that could help them piece together the sequence of events. So far, no suspect has been publicly identified, and no new charges related directly to the shooting have been announced. Authorities are still trying to reconstruct exactly how the incident unfolded and who was involved in the moments before and after shots were fired.

The latest development adds another layer to a case that already drew heavy attention because of who was there that night. Offset suffered what authorities described as a non-life-threatening injury and received medical treatment shortly after the incident. Lil Tjay was also at the casino and was detained at the scene before later being arrested on disorderly conduct and driving without a license charges. Officials, however, have made clear that those charges are not directly tied to the shooting itself.

That distinction became important almost immediately, as early online reactions began folding Lil Tjay’s arrest into the shooting narrative. Authorities have also said another individual was detained that night, though little else has been made public about that person’s role, if any, in the larger investigation.

Now, with the FBI releasing new images instead of announcing arrests, the case appears to be moving into a witness-driven phase. And until investigators identify who fired the shots and what sparked the chaos inside the casino, the questions around one of rap’s messiest recent incidents are only getting louder.
