The Cheetah Girls are officially heading into a new era, but the reboot news has already sparked unexpected drama.
After Disney’s The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen announcement began making rounds online, fans quickly noticed that Kiely Williams was not included in the confirmed returning cast. That detail pushed her name back into the conversation and led to strong comments from her sister.
The conversation started after an X user praised Kiely as an underrated star from both 3LW and The Cheetah Girls. The user also suggested that the behind-the-scenes tension from that time must have been difficult if Kiely chose not to return.
Kiely’s sister responded directly and did not hold back. She accused Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton of being “two-faced” and claimed Kiely had long been made the easiest person to blame because of her history with 3LW.
She also called out Sabrina Bryan, saying karma would eventually come for those involved.
The comments quickly spread across social media as fans revisited the long-running rumors and tension surrounding both 3LW and The Cheetah Girls. At this time, Raven, Adrienne, and Sabrina have not publicly responded to the remarks.
The drama comes after Raven-Symoné confirmed production on The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen with an Instagram video of herself strutting to “Strut” from The Cheetah Girls 2. The post immediately sent Disney fans into nostalgia mode as many celebrated the return of the franchise.
Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, Sabrina Bryan, Lynn Whitfield, and Lori Alter are all reportedly set to return for the reboot. However, Kiely’s absence quickly became one of the biggest talking points online.
Kiely has not publicly issued her own detailed response to the reboot news.
