Quavo just gave fans one of the biggest surprises of his career — the Migos rapper is a father to a baby girl.

The 35-year-old rapper revealed his daughter in a new short film promoting his upcoming album, QRÖMELIFE, which is produced by Pharrell Williams.

Quavo announced the project on Instagram Monday, Sept. 28, sharing the cinematic visual alongside the message, “New Beginnings New Blessings. QRÖMELIFE Friday!”

The short film blends Quavo’s past and present, featuring archival footage from his years with Migos while also including emotional appearances from his late nephew and groupmate Takeoff.

But one moment immediately caught fans off guard: Quavo introducing his baby girl to the public.

The reveal came as a surprise because the Atlanta rapper has largely kept his family life private and had not publicly discussed having a daughter.

Fans quickly flooded the comments after realizing Quavo had quietly entered fatherhood.

“Was today years old when I realized Quavo had a kid,” one Instagram user wrote.

Others celebrated the new addition to Quavo’s family, congratulating the rapper and sending well wishes to his daughter.

Quavo has been open about how deeply Takeoff’s death affected him following the rapper’s fatal shooting in Houston in November 2022. The new visual appears to connect that loss with a new chapter in Quavo’s life, placing memories of Migos and Takeoff alongside his transition into fatherhood.

That theme is reflected in the album’s rollout, with Quavo presenting QRÖMELIFE as both a musical project and a reflection of where his life stands today.

The album, produced by Pharrell Williams, is scheduled to arrive Friday.

For longtime fans, however, Quavo’s unexpected introduction of his daughter may prove to be one of the most memorable moments from the rollout yet.
