North West is opening up about everything from her favorite artists to the piercing she wants next — even though she has already been told she cannot get it.

The 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West spoke candidly about her evolving style, music career and life as a teenager in a new interview with Dazed.

North, who has already experimented with several hand and finger piercings, revealed that she now wants a bridge piercing across the top of her nose.

There is just one problem.

“I really want to get my bridge pierced, but I’m not allowed,” North said.

North West Explains Her Love of Piercings and Blue Hair

Piercings have become a major part of North’s increasingly recognizable alternative style.

When asked why she likes them, North explained that they help her express herself.

“They just make you your full self,” she said.

North has also been sporting bright blue hair inspired by Japanese virtual pop star Hatsune Miku.

While discussing how her interests compare with those of other teenagers, North said she is perfectly happy focusing on fashion and experimenting with her appearance.

“Everyone’s in love with boys, vaping and doing all kinds of bad stuff,” she said. “All I want is blue hair and piercings.”

Lil Uzi Vert Left North West Starstruck

Despite growing up around some of the biggest names in entertainment, North admitted there is still at least one rapper who can leave her starstruck.

Lil Uzi Vert.

North attended Uzi’s set at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Chicago and later got the opportunity to meet the rapper backstage.

“It was crazy, and I got to meet them after,” North told Dazed. “I cannot believe it even happened; I’m still starstruck.”

The moment came during the same festival where North reached a major milestone of her own.

On June 12, she performed her first solo music festival set at Summer Smash, taking the stage following the release of her debut EP, “N0rth4evr.”

North also revealed that Lil Uzi’s “Pink Tape” had a major influence on her own music.

She described hearing the project as “life-changing” and said Uzi remains one of her dream collaborators.

North West Reveals Her Fashion “Holy Grail”

North also opened up about some of the most valuable pieces in her wardrobe.

Asked to name her “holy grail” fashion item, she immediately pointed to a piece connected to Michael Jackson.

“Well, I have a Michael Jackson jacket,” North revealed, explaining that the item was a gift from her mother.

She also named her Rick Owens Geobasket sneakers as another favorite.

Given that North has already become a fixture at fashion shows and regularly experiments with bold looks, the choices fit her increasingly distinct style.

North West Says She Wants to Work at Starbucks

Despite being raised in one of the most famous families in entertainment, North also revealed that she is interested in experiencing a surprisingly ordinary teenage milestone.

A regular job.

When asked what she might do if she were not pursuing music, North said she could see herself working at Starbucks once she is old enough.

“I still wanna work,” she explained, adding that she wants to experience having a “regular job.”

Music, however, appears to remain her main focus.

North told Dazed that she has been rehearsing consistently and spending time in the studio as she takes her career more seriously.

She also pushed back on anyone suggesting she should wait until she is older to pursue music.

“This is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life,” North said.

Between her first solo festival appearance, debut project and rapidly evolving personal style, North appears determined to figure out exactly what she wants her own identity to look — and sound — like.
