Nevaeh Akira has caught fans' attention with a new Instagram Story posted shortly after Blueface proposed to Chrisean Rock during a nightclub outing.

The social media personality, who welcomed a son with Blueface in August, shared a throwback clip of Mariah Carey just hours after footage of the rapper's surprise proposal began circulating online.

While Akira didn't directly mention Blueface or Chrisean, the timing of her post has raised questions about whether she was subtly responding to her ex's latest relationship milestone.

On Monday, October 12, Akira reposted an old video of Mariah Carey sitting inside a limousine while speaking on her cellphone.

In the clip, Carey laughs as she announces her choice of music.

"And my theme song is 'We Gonna Make It,' by Jadakiss. We're here," Carey says.

Akira didn't add any explanation to the repost or clarify whether the message was directed toward Blueface.

However, the post quickly attracted attention because it followed his public proposal to Chrisean Rock the previous evening.

On Sunday, October 11, Blueface and Chrisean Rock documented their night out in Arizona through a joint Kick livestream.

The couple spent the evening visiting clubs with their group and showing affection toward one another before Blueface surprised Chrisean with a proposal.

During the nightclub celebration, Blueface dropped to one knee as an illuminated "Will You Marry Me" sign appeared behind them.

Chrisean reacted with excitement and immediately got down on her knees beside him.

Despite people around her encouraging her to stand, she remained close to Blueface as the two embraced and kissed.

The moment was captured on camera and quickly circulated across social media.

Blueface's proposal comes just weeks after his relationship with Akira ended.

The former couple welcomed their son, Johnathan Porter Jr., in August 2026 before reportedly separating shortly afterward.

Following their breakup, Blueface rekindled his relationship with Chrisean Rock, with the two regularly appearing together on livestreams.

Akira also recently drew support from fans after becoming emotional during a Kick livestream.

During that broadcast, she was seen crying while listening to The Neighbourhood's "Sweater Weather."

Although some social media users connected the emotional moment to her breakup, Akira did not publicly confirm what caused her tears.
