Nelly just revealed an unexpected detail about his friendship with Taylor Swift, claiming the pop superstar once paid him $50,000 in a McDonald’s bag for a surprise concert appearance.

During a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, the “Hot in Herre” rapper recalled receiving an unexpected phone call from Swift back in 2011.

According to Nelly, Swift explained that she and her friends had choreographed a routine to his hit song the night before her Houston concert. She wanted him to fly in from St. Louis and perform the track alongside them.

Swift reportedly made the last-minute request worth his while, offering to send her private jet to pick him up and arranging a Presidential Suite at the Four Seasons.

But the most unusual part of the deal came when Nelly requested that his payment be delivered in a McDonald’s bag.

The rapper said Swift’s manager, Robert Allen, followed through, handing over the $50,000 exactly as requested.

Nelly didn’t explain why he chose the fast-food packaging, but the unusual arrangement became one of the standout details of his story.

The two artists have maintained a friendship over the years, with Nelly making several appearances during Swift’s live performances.
