Nigerian international goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is facing serious accusations from his former partner after photos and videos of him spending time with Cardi B sparked widespread dating rumors.
Model Jelicia Westhoff took to Instagram with a series of now-deleted posts accusing Okoye of being an absent father, alleging he has failed to care for or maintain a relationship with their young son.
Jelicia Westhoff Calls Out Maduka Okoye
Westhoff shared emotional messages on Instagram claiming she stayed silent about their past relationship for the sake of Okoye's football career but could no longer remain quiet.
She accused the 26-year-old goalkeeper of failing to support or care for their only child, writing that he does not visit or regularly contact their three-year-old son, Isaiah Emil Jr. Okoye.
Westhoff also alleged that Okoye did not visit their son during multiple hospitalizations, including a stay in intensive care.
In addition to her claims about parenting, she accused the footballer of infidelity during their relationship and alleged physical abuse. Okoye has not publicly responded to those allegations.
Cardi B Dinner Sparks Relationship Speculation
The accusations surfaced shortly after Cardi B and Maduka Okoye were photographed dining together with friends at Gio's Restaurant inside the St. Regis Hotel in Italy.
The outing immediately fueled speculation that the pair could be romantically involved.
Earlier this month, Cardi B and Okoye were also seen together at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week, where they were photographed talking and interacting throughout the event.
Neither Cardi B nor Okoye has publicly confirmed the nature of their relationship.
Westhoff Says Her Issue Isn't With Cardi B
Following the online reaction, Westhoff clarified that her frustration is not directed at Cardi B.
Speaking to Page Six, she said she has "nothing against" the rapper and explained that her anger is centered on the father of her child appearing publicly with another woman while allegedly neglecting his responsibilities as a parent.
Her comments have sparked widespread debate online, with social media users weighing in on both the dating rumors and the serious allegations against the footballer.
