Love Island USA may be over, but Trinity Tatum is asking fans to calm down online.

After winning Season 8 of Love Island USA with Bryce Dettloff, Trinity took to Instagram Stories to address the hate being directed at fellow cast member Zach Georgiou. The reality star made it clear that while she appreciates the support, some of the comments about Zach have gone too far.

“Coming out [of] the villa, one, I want to say I’m very blessed and appreciative of the love & support everyone has given me,” Trinity wrote.

She then called out viewers who have been leaving hateful remarks about Zach.

“With that being said I wanna say the hate & ignorant comments some of you guys are doing regarding Zach is absolutely not okay and needs to stop,” she continued.

Trinity said it was “very disheartening” to see the negativity and reminded fans that the islanders are real people outside of the show. She also shared that she still has love for Zach and the rest of the cast after their time in the villa.

“We genuinely have love for each other inside and out of the villa and he’s one of the most amazing people I’ve met so please have some empathy,” she wrote.

Bryce later reshared Trinity’s statement on his own Instagram Stories. Melissa Moreno, Aniya Harvey and Kayda Bosse also reposted the message, showing support for Zach as the online conversation continued.

Zach’s brother, Charlie Georgiou, has also defended him on Threads. Charlie, who appeared on Season 7 of Love Island USA, pushed back against the criticism and said people were treating Zach as if he had done something much worse.

He also suggested that more context about Zach’s time on the show could be addressed soon.
