The 21-year-old film student from Miami entered the Villa during the June 21 episode. However, less than 24 hours after her debut, alleged videos began circulating online that sparked accusations of racist behavior.
Fans quickly called on Peacock and Love Island USA producers to remove Alannah from the show. Now, viewers think the network may have quietly taken action.
Alannah Keyser Missing From Love Island USA Promo
Speculation grew after the official Love Island USA Instagram account posted a preview for the June 23 episode.
Despite Alannah developing a connection with Zach Georgiou, she was noticeably absent from most of the footage. Viewers immediately flooded the comment section with theories that producers had either removed her or edited her out of the episode.
“They told Alannah SWERVE,” one person wrote.
Another viewer suggested that Alannah may still be in the Villa but was deliberately cut from the promo and could officially leave during Thursday’s episode.
“I think she’s there and they just did their best to edit her out as much as they could this episode,” the fan wrote.
Others claimed Alannah’s face appeared to be blurred in one of the clips.
Although she can briefly be seen in the background wearing blue at approximately the 11-second mark, she is largely missing from the promotional video.
Has Peacock Removed Alannah Keyser?
Peacock has not officially confirmed whether Alannah Keyser has been removed from Love Island USA.
Until the network or the show’s producers issue a statement, her current status remains unclear. Fans will have to watch the upcoming episodes to see whether she returns to the screen or leaves the Villa.
The rumors surrounding Alannah come shortly after contestant Vasana Montgomery was reportedly removed from the show following backlash over resurfaced videos in which she was accused of using racial slurs.
Love Island USA Reportedly Planning Stricter Background Checks
According to The Sun, Peacock executives were allegedly left embarrassed after the controversy involving Vasana Montgomery.
A source claimed that the network is now considering stronger methods for investigating potential contestants’ online histories before casting them.
Producers are reportedly exploring artificial intelligence tools that could help examine a contestant’s complete digital footprint, including old social media posts and videos.
The proposed changes are expected to make the Love Island USA vetting process more thorough in future seasons.
