Rapper Lil Wayne is making headlines after alleged text messages surfaced appearing to show conversations between him and former Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant star Rachel Beaver about a possible meetup.
According to TMZ, the messages suggest the pair exchanged direct messages before moving their conversation to text, where they allegedly discussed travel arrangements and the possibility of meeting in person.
Rachel Beaver Allegedly Reached Out To Lil Wayne First
According to the reported messages, the conversation began when Beaver allegedly sent the rapper a direct message that read, "Fly me out. I won't say anything like the last one."
The alleged exchange then reportedly moved to text messages after Lil Wayne asked for her phone number.
Beaver, who is 23 years old, told the outlet that the interaction initially started as a joke while she was participating in a late-night TikTok livestream.
According to Beaver, viewers encouraged her to send the message, and she was surprised when the rapper eventually responded.
The Alleged Messages Included Discussions About Travel Plans
The reported texts indicate that Beaver suggested waiting until after Christmas to arrange a meeting because she needed time to organize childcare for her children.
Several weeks later, the conversations allegedly resumed, with the pair discussing travel plans and possible dates for the trip.
According to the screenshots obtained by TMZ, Lil Wayne allegedly reassured Beaver that she would not be responsible for any travel expenses. Beaver reportedly asked whether the trip could be scheduled around her birthday in April.
However, Beaver said the meeting never happened because she was dealing with issues related to obtaining identification documents needed for travel.
Rachel Beaver Says Communication Eventually Ended
Beaver told the publication that communication between the two eventually slowed before coming to an end altogether.
She said she later attempted to contact the rapper again but believed she had been blocked after noticing that her messages were no longer being delivered.
Beaver also revealed that she was surprised by reports earlier this year suggesting that Lil Wayne had become engaged. The rapper later clarified publicly that he was no longer engaged and was single.
