Lil Wayne is clearing the air after rumors about his dating life and a missed concert in Maine sparked major conversation online.

The Young Money rapper recently hopped on video to address speculation that he was engaged to 23-year-old influencer Madi K. Wayne made it clear that he is not engaged, while also confirming that he had been involved with someone he described as an amazing person.

“No, I’m not engaged,” Wayne said.

He did not mention Madi K by name. However, the clarification came after fans linked him to the influencer following recent photos and stage appearances. Wayne suggested that the attention surrounding the relationship became too much and said the two decided to part ways.

The rapper also addressed his missed performance in Bangor, Maine. Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform at Maine Savings Amphitheater on June 30 for the opening night of his 20 Years of Carter Classics Tour, but he never took the stage. The show was later rescheduled for July 28.

Wayne apologized directly to fans and explained that his absence was connected to his health. He said he has epilepsy and that migraines can trigger his seizures. According to Wayne, he had a bad migraine that night and was advised not to fly.

“Thank God I haven’t had a seizure in years, but seizures have triggers,” he said. “The triggers to my seizures are bad migraines. I had a bad migraine that night.”

Wayne added that he still tried to make the trip, but ultimately followed medical advice and did not get on the plane.
