King Combs shared a heartfelt message expressing how deeply he misses his father while thanking him for the sacrifices, lessons and conversations that helped shape his life.
“Happy Father’s Day Pops,” King began. “I love you and miss you more than words can explain.”
The rapper credited Diddy with helping him become the man he is today, showing appreciation for everything his father has done throughout his life.
“Thank you for every sacrifice, every lesson, every conversation, and every little thing you’ve done for me throughout my life,” he continued. “You’ve helped shape me into the man I am today, and I’ll forever be grateful for that.”
The most notable part of the message came when King spoke about eventually reuniting with his father, declaring that the family is “almost at the finish line.”
“Can’t wait until we’re back together picking up right where we left off,” King wrote. “We’re almost at the finish line, and when that day comes, I won’t take a single moment for granted.”
He ended the tribute by calling Diddy “the best to ever do it” and promising to love him forever.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex-trafficking charges brought against him during his highly publicized 2025 trial.
The Bad Boy Records founder is incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. His projected release date has reportedly been moved forward to February 23, 2028, although his legal team is continuing to appeal his conviction and sentence.
King Combs has consistently defended and supported his father throughout the legal proceedings. He has attended court appearances, addressed criticism through his music and publicly celebrated the portions of the verdict that cleared Diddy of the most serious charges.
His latest Father’s Day message offered another personal look at their close relationship, with King making it clear that he remains focused on the day his father can finally return home.
“Love you forever, Pops,” he concluded. “You’re the best to ever do it. Happy Father’s Day.”
