Kandi Burruss is not staying quiet after Todd Tucker opened up about their private sex life following the end of their 11-year marriage.

The singer and former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star issued a sharp response after Tucker publicly revealed intimate details about their relationship, including claims that the former couple regularly had threesomes during their marriage.

And according to Kandi, his decision to discuss those details publicly has only reinforced why she wanted the divorce in the first place.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Kandi accused her ex of turning private moments from their marriage into public entertainment.

“A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,” Kandi said.

She stressed that whatever happened consensually between them while they were husband and wife was meant to remain private.

“What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that — private,” she added.

Then Kandi made her position on the divorce crystal clear.

“His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”

Kandi’s response came after Todd appeared in a trailer for an upcoming film and was asked whether he and Kandi had participated in threesomes during their marriage.

Todd did not dodge the question.

“We did,” he said.

He then added that it allegedly happened for “most of our marriage.”

The revelation quickly began circulating online, bringing renewed attention to the former couple’s relationship months after their divorce was finalized.

While Todd has recently been speaking publicly about different aspects of their marriage and family life, Kandi appears to be drawing a firm line when it comes to their intimate relationship.

Her latest statement makes clear that she does not view their former sex life as something that should now be used for public discussion or promotion.

The comments also arrive as Todd has been opening up about his post-divorce relationship with Kandi’s family, including previously revealing that Kandi’s daughter Riley once encouraged him to “go get my mom back.”
