The legal battle between NFL star Stefon Diggs and his accuser has taken another turn after a Maryland judge ordered the man accusing the wide receiver of sexual assault to hand over his direct message history and other communications as part of the ongoing case.

According to newly obtained court documents, Christopher Griffith has been given 14 days to produce his complete Instagram direct message history with Diggs.

The court order also requires Griffith to provide all text message exchanges between himself and Diggs, along with any communications about the NFL star.

Additionally, Griffith must turn over travel-related documents connected to his trip to Maryland between May 20 and May 23, 2023—the timeframe during which he alleges the incident occurred. The requested records include flight information, hotel receipts, luggage documentation, and ride-share records.

However, the judge denied Diggs' request to impose sanctions against Griffith.

The latest ruling comes amid an ongoing legal dispute that began after Diggs filed a defamation lawsuit against Griffith, alleging that false accusations of sexual assault damaged his reputation and caused significant personal and professional harm.

Griffith later countersued, alleging he was drugged and sexually assaulted by Diggs during a visit to the athlete's Maryland home in 2023.

In his court filing, Griffith claims Diggs exposed himself and allegedly invited him into a bedroom. Griffith says he declined the alleged advance.

He also alleges that about a week later, Diggs arranged for his brother and others to assault him in an effort to keep him from speaking publicly about the alleged incident.

Diggs has denied the allegations against him, and the legal proceedings remain ongoing.

The court has not ruled on the merits of either party's claims, and both the defamation lawsuit and Griffith's counterclaims continue to move through the judicial process.
