Jeremih is stepping away from the Boys 4 Life tour after revealing he is dealing with a serious medical condition.
The R&B singer shared the update on Instagram on March 6, telling fans he will no longer be part of the upcoming run with B2K and Bow Wow. “Due to a serious medical condition, Jeremih will be unable to participate in the upcoming B2K tour scheduled to begin in March,” the statement said. It added that he has been dealing with a health issue and that his condition is being “closely monitored” by his doctor.
A separate statement to TMZ from Jeremih’s manager, Dilla repeated that message and said the focus right now is on his care and recovery:
"[Jeremih's] condition continues to be closely monitored by his doctor. Jeremih and his team are focused on his care and recovery and are deeply grateful for the understanding, patience, and continued support from fans, partners, and the touring team during this time.
No details about the condition itself have been made public.
The update also clears up something fans had already started noticing. In recent tour promo, Jeremih’s name appeared to be missing from the lineup, which led to questions online about whether something had changed behind the scenes.
Jeremih has had public health scares before, so the news is landing heavily with fans who remember his very serious COVID-19 hospitalization in 2020.
