More than 1.6 million people were reportedly in the queue on Monday, March 23, as fans tried to secure tickets for Jay-Z’s upcoming anniversary shows at Yankee Stadium.

The two New York dates will take place on July 10 and July 11 and are set to celebrate 30 years of Reasonable Doubt and 25 years of The Blueprint. According to reports and screenshots shared online, demand surged across both nights, with more than 816,000 people in the queue for the first show and over 847,000 for the second.

Resale prices also climbed quickly. Stupid Dope reported that some listings had already reached up to 12 thousand dollars, with even bleacher seats appearing at unusually high prices.

The concerts mark a rare stadium return for Jay-Z and arrive as he has been leaning into the anniversary rollout in recent weeks. The rapper has revived the umlaut styling in his name and shared archival material tied to the releases.

Earlier this month, he was also announced as a headliner for the 2026 Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, where he joins a lineup that includes Erykah Badu, Brandy, Kehlani, T.I. and Mariah the Scientist.

With both Yankee Stadium dates now driving major demand, the anniversary shows are shaping up to be two of the most closely watched rap events of the summer.
