Jay-Z has reportedly been announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl LXI halftime show, scheduled for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

According to the report, the NFL revealed the news during Monday Night Football's Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles matchup on October 26. The performance would mark a major career milestone for the Brooklyn rapper, whose entertainment company, Roc Nation, has helped produce Super Bowl halftime shows since 2019.

The announcement reportedly follows speculation that Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber were also being considered for the performance.

Jay-Z's reported selection comes after more than three decades in the music industry. The 25-time Grammy winner was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021 and has earned 14 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200.

The rapper also recently celebrated the anniversaries of his classic albums Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint with stadium performances, including shows at Yankee Stadium and London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

His potential halftime appearance would also follow Beyoncé's history with the NFL's biggest event. The singer headlined the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show in 2013 and returned as a special guest during Super Bowl 50 in 2016.

Over the years, Roc Nation has helped bring major artists to the Super Bowl stage, including Rihanna, Usher, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg.

Super Bowl LXI is scheduled to air on ESPN and ABC, with the championship returning to the Los Angeles area in 2027.
