Marissa Springer is telling her side of the Desmond Scott saga, and according to her, the whole thing came with designer bags, public backlash, and a lot of silence when it mattered most.
In her sit-down with TMZ’s Charlie Neff, Springer claimed Scott handed her his card the day after they met and sent her on an “unlimited shopping spree,” where she says she spent about $10,000 on items from brands like YSL and Gucci. “Even though he couldn't come with me publicly, he still gave me his card to go on an unlimited shopping spree for me the very next day of us meeting” she said. “Not nothing that I asked for, but [he] was really generous with it.”
Springer said their fling started fast, explaining that they met the same night they were first filmed kissing by TMZ and kept seeing each other after that, even as headlines around Scott’s split were picking up.
Asked whether the two were actually together or just hooking up, Springer did not exactly define it as serious, but made clear there was some connection. “I would say we definitely did vibe,” she said, before adding that she felt left alone once the attention turned ugly. “I really had to like bring myself out the mud,” Springer said. “I feel like he didn't really defend me publicly.”
That public fallout, according to Springer, was intense. “I'm still getting hate to this day, which is wild,” she said. “I was getting death threats for a while.” She also said people flooded her comments with rumors and insults, including speculation about her gender identity. “People will do anything to hate,” Springer said. “People will hate on anything and I learned that the internet is very opinionated and makes up their own stories.”

She also suggested there were limits to how publicly Scott was willing to be seen with her. While reflecting on his rumored link to Dana Tran, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Springer said that shift surprised her. “It surprised me because I saw that name pop up on his phone, but he never answered the calls when I was with him,” she said. Even though she made clear there were “never serious intentions,” the interview still carried a tone of frustration over what she says was private generosity paired with public distance.
Springer ended things with one final jab aimed at Scott’s current orbit. “Diddy's out soon, so be careful,” she said.
Scott’s camp, meanwhile, is disputing her version of events. Sources close to him told TMZ he only bought Springer “a single purse” worth $3,788.75, denied there was any “hush” arrangement, and pushed back on the idea that Dana Tran was in the picture while he was seeing Springer. with Dana Tran, insisting he did not know her while he was seeing Springer.
All of this is unfolding against the backdrop of Desmond Scott’s split from Kristy Sarah, who filed for divorce in December, according to court documents. The two had built a huge online brand off family content, home renovations, and couple pranks, after first meeting as teenagers, marrying in 2014, and having two sons together.

After the breakup made headlines, Desmond posted a public apology to Instagram, saying he and Kristy had “faced challenges” and that he had made “sincere efforts” to work through them, though he did not directly address the infidelity allegations swirling around the divorce.
