Rapper Desiigner has been arrested once again in South Carolina, where he is now facing a new domestic violence charge along with multiple felony property damage counts.
According to county jail records, the "Panda" hitmaker, whose legal name is Sidney Royel Selby III, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon and remained jailed as of the latest available records.
Desiigner Faces Domestic Violence and Felony Charges
Court records show Selby has been charged with one count of second-degree domestic violence and three felony counts of malicious injury to animals or personal property involving alleged damages valued between $2,000 and $10,000.
Authorities have not publicly released details surrounding the allegations, and investigators have not identified the alleged victim or disclosed what led to the rapper's arrest.
An official incident report has also not been made public.
Bond Set on One Charge as Case Moves Forward
According to court documents, no bond has been set for the domestic violence charge or two of the felony property damage counts.
However, a judge approved a $1,500 bond for one of the property damage charges.
Desiigner remained in custody following his arrest as the case continues through the legal process.
Arrest Comes Months After Earlier South Carolina Case
The latest arrest follows another domestic violence case filed against Desiigner earlier this year in South Carolina.
In that separate matter, the rapper was charged with third-degree domestic violence after an alleged altercation involving the mother of his child.
According to a police report from the earlier case, the woman alleged that Selby grabbed her during an argument, tore her sweatpants, and threw her to the ground.
He was later released after posting a $1,500 bond. That case remains separate from the newly filed charges.
Desiigner Has Faced Previous Legal Issues
Beyond his South Carolina cases, Desiigner has also encountered legal trouble at the federal level.
In 2023, the rapper was charged with indecent exposure following an incident aboard an international flight returning to the United States.
The case drew widespread attention after federal authorities alleged inappropriate conduct during the flight.
Investigation Ongoing
Neither Desiigner nor his legal representatives had publicly commented on the latest charges at the time of publication.
