Claressa Shields has accomplished just about everything there is to accomplish in boxing, but she still has one dream moment she wants before calling it a career.

The multi-division world champion revealed that she wants Beyoncé to personally walk her to the ring for one of her future fights before she retires.

During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Shields delivered a direct message to the superstar singer.

“Beyoncé, listen, baby girl,” Shields said. “Before I retire, I need you to walk me out.”

For Shields, who proudly refers to herself as the GWOAT — Greatest Woman of All Time — having one of the biggest artists in music history accompany her to the ring would be a fitting addition to an already historic boxing career.

Claressa Shields Lets Beyoncé Pick the Ring Walk Song

Shields is not even being picky about what Beyoncé would perform.

The boxer said she would allow Bey to choose the song and would be happy with even a brief appearance.

“You pick the song,” Shields said, adding that Beyoncé could perform for only 30 seconds or a minute if that is what she preferred.

Shields described the request as one of the few things she still wants to experience before leaving boxing.

“Before I retire, I need Beyoncé to walk out the greatest woman of all time,” she said.

She even insisted that she would not ask Beyoncé for anything else — not even a photo — if the singer agreed to make the ring walk happen.

Claressa Shields Says She Plans to Retire at 38

Fortunately, Beyoncé still has some time to answer the call.

Shields, 31, has previously said she expects to continue boxing until around age 38.

“I could fight forever, but I think when I am 38, I will call it and retire,” Shields said earlier this month, while adding that she believes there are still several years available to make major fights.

That leaves plenty of opportunities for a Beyoncé-assisted entrance before Shields hangs up the gloves.

And the champion does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

Claressa Shields Coming Off Dominant Kaye Scott Victory

Shields recently added another accomplishment to her résumé by stopping Kaye Scott in the sixth round of their August 15 fight in Atlanta.

The victory earned Shields the WBA and WBC middleweight titles after she dropped significantly in weight to compete at 160 pounds.

Her career already includes two Olympic gold medals and world championships across multiple weight divisions.

Now, Shields is looking toward even more major fights.

A showdown with fellow Olympic gold medalist Lauren Price remains one of her biggest targets and is currently expected to happen sometime in 2027.

Shields has also expressed interest in other potential opponents as she works toward retiring with an undefeated record.

Beyoncé Ring Walk Remains on Shields’ Boxing Bucket List

With championships, Olympic medals and history-making performances already behind her, Shields’ Beyoncé request is less about adding another title and more about creating one unforgettable moment.

Ring walks have become increasingly elaborate at major boxing events, often bringing music stars and fighters together before the opening bell.

For Shields, there is apparently only one artist she wants for hers.

“Beyoncé,” she said, “I need you to walk me out.”

Whether Queen Bey ultimately answers the call remains to be seen.
