Claressa Shields and radio personality Mz. Shyneka Robinson appear to have officially put their public feud behind them after reconnecting months after a heated exchange over the boxer’s relationship with Papoose.
Shyneka shared photos and videos of their reunion on Instagram, revealing that the two women sat down to address their differences and ultimately apologized to each other.
The reconciliation comes after their disagreement in August, when Shyneka questioned Shields about dating Papoose, who has been publicly linked to an ongoing marital dispute with estranged wife Remy Ma.
During an interview on Streetz 94.5 FM, Shyneka asked Shields how long she was willing to remain in a relationship with someone else’s husband. The question sparked a public confrontation, with Shields later responding to the radio host’s remarks during a livestream.
Their disagreement quickly escalated into an online back-and-forth, with both women defending their positions.
However, Shyneka now says their recent conversation helped resolve the tension.
In her Instagram post, the radio host acknowledged that their discussion initially started on a difficult note but eventually led to a mutual understanding.
“I have been called worse names lol its not the end of the world she respected the question I asked her on air & we were cool, but when others got in the middle it escalated into a war of words,” Shyneka explained.
She also expressed regret over participating in the public argument, explaining that she felt the situation had gone further than necessary.
Shyneka emphasized that she was pleased they could move forward without continuing the hostility.
“We have Squashed it & Moved on! The Gwoat & I are Good!” she wrote.
The original disagreement centered on Shields’ relationship with Papoose, whose separation from Remy Ma has remained a subject of public discussion.
Following Shyneka’s initial interview question, Shields pushed back against criticism of her relationship and questioned why similar scrutiny was not being directed toward Remy Ma.
Shyneka later indicated that she wanted to speak with Remy Ma to hear her perspective, although no such interview has been confirmed.
