Chris Brown’s personal life is back in the headlines, this time over a reported paternity suit involving his 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Diamond Brown filed the suit on April 3 regarding Lovely, whom she shares with the R&B singer. In the filing, Diamond reportedly said Chris had already “acknowledged paternity in a voluntary declaration,” which was attached to the case.

Diamond is reportedly asking the court to grant her legal and physical custody of Lovely, while allowing Chris visitation. The paperwork also states that Lovely has lived with Diamond at her Los Angeles home since birth. Diamond has also reportedly asked that Chris cover her legal fees in the case.

The timing of the filing has only added more attention to the story. The suit surfaced just as Chris welcomed a baby boy with his current partner, Jada Wallace, who announced the birth in late April. People reported that Brown commented under Wallace’s post with “Taurus gang,” appearing to celebrate the newborn’s arrival.

The legal move also comes after weeks of public tension between Diamond and Jada. Earlier this year, Diamond aired out issues involving Chris on Instagram, claiming he had a baby on the way and alleging that he had interfered with her romantic relationships. Jada later entered the conversation and accused Diamond of keeping Lovely from seeing her father, a claim Diamond denied.

Chris Brown is now reportedly a father of four. He shares daughter Royalty Brown with Nia Guzman, son Aeko Catori Brown with Ammika Harris, daughter Lovely Symphani Brown with Diamond Brown, and his newborn son with Jada Wallace.

As of now, Chris has not publicly responded to Diamond’s reported filing. The case appears to be focused on formalizing custody, visitation and legal responsibilities around Lovely, rather than establishing paternity from scratch.
