Cardi B is publicly standing by her ex-boyfriend Stefon Diggs as the NFL star continues to fight sexual assault allegations in an ongoing civil lawsuit.

The Grammy-winning rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday to respond to online discussions surrounding the case, disputing claims that Diggs is attempting to avoid trial and questioning the evidence presented by his accuser, Christopher Griffith.

Her comments quickly sparked debate across social media as the legal battle continues.

Cardi B Says Stefon Diggs Is Not Trying to Avoid Trial

While responding to comments on Instagram, Cardi B pushed back against claims that the former New England Patriots wide receiver is seeking to have the lawsuit dismissed before it reaches court.

Addressing one social media user directly, she wrote:

"He is not askin to get it dismissed... where are you even getting that for the whole point of suing is to go to court and prove he was lying."

Her response reflects Diggs' position that he intends to challenge the allegations through the legal process.

Cardi B Questions Christopher Griffith's Credibility

In another comment, Cardi B criticized Griffith's public statements about the alleged incident, arguing that his version of events has changed over time.

She wrote:

"This man did 3 interviews change his story 2 times and never provided NOT ONE receipt... but you right wait till trial start."

Cardi emphasized that the claims should ultimately be evaluated in court rather than through public opinion.

"Where Is the Evidence?" Cardi B Asks

The rapper continued defending Diggs in a separate exchange, questioning whether Griffith has produced evidence to support his allegations.

"Where is the evidence? There is no evidence! You know what there's evidence of? Chris stealing from Stefon and NO evidence of Chris claims."

Her remarks echoed Diggs' legal defense, which has denied the sexual assault allegations while accusing Griffith of stealing property.

Lawsuit Remains Ongoing

The public comments come as Griffith's civil lawsuit continues to move through the courts.

According to the lawsuit, Griffith recently filed what has been described as a 100-page text message exchange that he alleges supports his claims against Diggs.

Diggs has denied all allegations of sexual assault and maintains that Griffith's accusations are false. He has also asserted counterclaims alleging that Griffith stole from him.

Case Has Not Been Decided

The lawsuit remains pending, and no court has ruled on the allegations or the defenses raised by either party.

While Cardi B has publicly voiced her support for Diggs, the claims made by Griffith and the counterclaims asserted by Diggs have not been adjudicated. Any evidence—including the disputed text messages and other materials submitted by both sides—will ultimately be evaluated through the legal process unless the matter is resolved before trial.
