Cam’ron is making his stance on a Dipset reunion very clear.

During a recent appearance on the Do You podcast, the Harlem rapper was asked whether the legendary rap collective could ever come back together. Cam did not take long to answer.

“No,” he said, leaving little room for debate.

At first, the hosts appeared ready to move on, but Cam decided to explain exactly what he meant. According to him, a Dipset reunion could technically happen, but it would not include him.

“No, I’m saying, I’ve seen them do Dipset reunion shows without me,” Cam explained. “I’m just telling you. It’s mad members of Dipset. I’m just saying I wouldn’t be there.”

He then doubled down on the point, saying the rest of the collective is free to come together without him.

“They can all gather up and do the reunion,” he said.

Dipset, also known as The Diplomats, became one of the most recognizable hip-hop crews of the early 2000s. Led by Cam’ron, the group helped shape New York rap with members including Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freekey Zekey. Their influence stretched beyond music, becoming tied to Harlem style, mixtape culture, and a distinct era of rap fashion.

Still, the group’s history has also been marked by tension, especially between Cam’ron and Jim Jones. That long-running strain appears to be one of the biggest reasons Cam is not interested in another reunion.

In a 2025 interview on the Roc Solid podcast, Cam spoke about his complicated relationship with Jim Jones and admitted he does not know whether they can ever fully repair things.

“Look, I always wish Jim the best,” Cam said at the time. “I hope he does well. He came a long way.”

Cam also reflected on their early run together, noting how quickly Jones grew from being around the movement to becoming a full artist in his own right. However, he suggested that the years of conflict may now outweigh the actual time they spent successfully working together.

According to Cam, Dipset’s initial run lasted around six or seven years. The disputes, reunions, arguments, and diss records have stretched for much longer.

“The reunions and arguments and fighting, it’s been 15 years,” Cam said. “The run was only seven years.”

He added that while he would never completely rule out anything, the history between them makes a full reunion difficult to imagine. Cam also pointed to past diss records from Jones, including “Frienemies,” as part of the larger pattern that has kept distance between them.
