Chris Brown’s Los Angeles home is back in the headlines after another security scare unfolded outside the singer’s property.

According to TMZ, police were called to Brown’s home in Tarzana on Wednesday evening, shortly before 7 p.m., after a man was allegedly spotted at the gate trying to get inside. The caller reportedly told authorities they knew the individual and said he had been an ongoing issue.

The situation escalated when the man allegedly jumped over the fence and made it onto the property. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that he then allegedly tried to start a fire before someone at the residence made contact with him. He was later taken into custody and arrested for trespassing. A trespass report was also completed.

Brown has not publicly addressed the latest incident at the time of reporting. The suspect has also not been identified.

The arrest comes only weeks after another incident outside Brown’s Tarzana home drew police attention. Earlier this month, LAPD responded after a security guard allegedly fired a CO2-style handgun during a dispute with a woman near the property. ABC7 reported that the suspect in that case was booked for assault with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm.

TMZ later reported that the man involved in that shooting incident had been part of Brown’s security team but was no longer working for him after the confrontation. NBC Los Angeles also reported that the altercation involved a woman and a security guard outside the residence.

With two incidents now tied to the property in a short span of time, the latest arrest has shifted attention from celebrity drama to basic safety.
