Boosie Badazz is making headlines again after publicly stating that transgender women will not be allowed at his upcoming topless pool party.

The rapper shared the message on X while responding to a question from a prospective attendee. In the post, Boosie included a screenshot of an Instagram DM where someone asked about tickets to the event before asking whether trans women were allowed to attend.

Boosie responded by saying they were not. He then expanded on the statement in his X post, writing that trans women would not be permitted at the party and claiming that attendees would be checked before entry.

The post quickly drew attention because it arrived during Pride Month and because of Boosie’s long history of controversial remarks about LGBTQ+ people. While Boosie appeared to suggest he was trying to be “respectful” in his wording, the message still included anti-trans language and a clear ban on trans women attending the event.

The exchange itself ended calmly, with the person who asked the question simply replying, “Ok.” However, the public post brought renewed attention to Boosie’s past comments.

Boosie has repeatedly faced criticism for remarks about LGBTQ+ figures over the years. In 2020, he made comments about Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Zaya Wade, after she came out as transgender. His remarks were later challenged by Mike Tyson during an interview, where Tyson questioned why Boosie felt entitled to comment on someone else’s child and personal life.

The rapper also came under fire in 2021 after targeting Lil Nas X online. One of his posts was removed by Twitter, now known as X, after it included homophobic language and a reference to suicide. Earlier that same year, Boosie had also made threatening comments toward the artist.

More recently, Boosie has appeared open to discussing some of his past views in public interviews. During a conversation with Jason Lee, the Hollywood Unlocked founder asked him whether he would ever perform at a Pride event. Boosie said he would not, though the two continued speaking about the subject in a more casual tone.
