Rapper Blueface was the target of an apparent swatting incident after Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies rushed to his Santa Clarita home following a false emergency report claiming he had shot his girlfriend.

Authorities have since confirmed the allegations were completely unfounded and are now investigating who made the fake call.

According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, deputies responded to Blueface's home around 2:50 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

The caller falsely claimed the rapper had fatally shot his girlfriend, was under the influence of drugs, and was holding the couple's young daughter inside the residence.

Because of the serious nature of the report, law enforcement treated the situation as an active threat.

Deputies detained the occupants of the home at gunpoint while conducting a protective search of the property.

The dramatic response unfolded while Blueface was livestreaming on Kick, with portions of the police operation captured on camera and quickly spreading across social media.

After thoroughly searching the home, deputies determined there was no evidence of a shooting, no injured victims and no ongoing threat.

Everyone detained during the operation was released without being arrested.

Investigators now believe the incident was a swatting attack—a criminal act in which someone places a false emergency call to trigger a large police response at another person's home.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed detectives are working to identify the individual responsible for the alleged hoax.

No arrests have been announced.

Authorities emphasized that the investigation is centered on identifying the person who made the false report—not on any criminal conduct by Blueface.

Officials also confirmed there is no threat to the public following the incident.

The incident comes amid continued public attention surrounding Blueface, including his recent viral exchanges with ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock and other legal matters.

However, law enforcement has made clear that the current investigation relates solely to the alleged false emergency call that prompted the armed police response.
