Blueface is celebrating a major payday after claiming he earned $1 million in just 90 days on Kick, revealing that fellow rapper DDG played a crucial role in getting his streaming career started.

During a November 1 livestream, the “Thotiana” rapper opened up about his success on the platform and credited DDG with encouraging him to explore streaming as another source of income.

“I made a million dollars in ninety days off streaming,” Blueface said, insisting that the figure was accurate.

He also revealed that DDG helped him get started by providing the equipment needed to launch his streams.

“Shout out to DDG for introducing me to streaming, getting me all this equipment for streaming. We’ll never forget where we came from,” Blueface added.

The rapper’s reported earnings come amid a massive increase in his streaming popularity, with his livestreams regularly attracting viewers interested in his personal life, relationships and unfiltered conversations.

According to data from Streams Charts, Blueface’s total watch time surged from approximately 102,000 hours in the second quarter of 2026 to 5.42 million hours in the third quarter.

That represents a staggering 5,225.8% increase, placing him at the top of the platform’s percentage growth rankings for the period.

Nearly 96% of his viewing hours came from Just Chatting and IRL content, highlighting how his personality and everyday interactions have become major attractions for audiences.

DDG has also been vocal about the financial opportunities available through livestreaming.

During ComplexCon 2025, the rapper and content creator revealed that he earned the equivalent of his recording contract in just one month on Twitch.

“For what I signed for, I made that in 30 days on Twitch,” DDG explained.

He also argued that streaming has become more lucrative than traditional music careers for some entertainers.

“Streamers make more than rappers, a hundred percent,” he said.

Kick’s creator-friendly revenue model allows eligible streamers to retain 95% of subscription revenue, offering another potential income stream beyond music sales and performances.

While Blueface’s claimed $1 million payday has not been independently verified, his dramatic growth in viewership suggests that streaming has become a significant part of his career.
