Blueface’s latest livestream took an unexpected turn Monday night when an apparent prank emergency call brought Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies to a Santa Clarita business, ending with the rapper reportedly being arrested.
According to TMZ, the 29-year-old rapper was taken into custody on October 19 after deputies responded to reports of a man pointing a gun at someone near Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia, California.
Authorities arrived around 7:43 p.m. and detained several individuals while investigating the alleged firearm incident.
However, the situation escalated when Blueface allegedly refused to comply with officers’ commands.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told TMZ that the rapper was arrested on suspicion of delaying or obstructing a police investigation, a misdemeanor offense.
Investigators ultimately determined that no armed suspect was present and that the emergency call was a false report, commonly referred to as “swatting.”
Blueface’s Livestream Captures Chaotic Police Encounter
The incident reportedly unfolded while Blueface was broadcasting on Kick, with footage capturing portions of the tense police response.
According to TMZ, Blueface and several friends were dressed in superhero costumes for Halloween when deputies arrived. The group reportedly told officers they were not carrying weapons.
Despite the original gun allegation proving unfounded, Blueface’s alleged failure to follow police instructions resulted in his arrest.
Authorities have not publicly identified who made the false emergency call or established whether it was connected to previous incidents involving the rapper.
Blueface Faces Another Police Encounter After Multiple Swatting Incidents
Monday’s arrest marks the latest in a series of police responses involving Blueface in recent months.
In August, deputies responded to a reported shooting at King of Crab, a seafood restaurant in Santa Clarita. Blueface was detained during the investigation but later released after authorities determined that no crime had occurred.
A similar incident unfolded in July when officers arrived at his Canyon Country residence following reports of a shooting while he was livestreaming. Investigators again found no evidence of a crime.
On September 30, emergency personnel reportedly responded to two additional calls at his home involving allegations of child endangerment and a medical emergency.
The latest arrest also comes as Blueface remains on probation stemming from a 2022 shooting case in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, the rapper recently made headlines after proposing to his longtime on-and-off partner, Chrisean Rock, at an Arizona nightclub.
