Big Tigger is speaking out after prosecutors decided not to move forward with criminal charges against him following months of controversy surrounding an alleged domestic dispute.
The longtime radio personality celebrated the development in a new video, telling viewers:
“I got them charges dropped!”
Tigger, whose real name is Darian Morgan, had faced a potential felony aggravated battery charge and a misdemeanor third-degree cruelty to children charge following an incident involving his estranged wife, Alicia Brown.
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office ultimately declined to prosecute the case.
Big Tigger Celebrates Charges Being Dropped
In a video circulating online, Tigger appeared relieved as he discussed the outcome.
He said a “public declination” had been entered in the case and encouraged people to review the record for themselves to understand why prosecutors chose not to move forward.
The media personality also reflected on the intense scrutiny he faced over the previous several months.
Tigger said his willingness to trust new people has fallen dramatically following the situation.
He also thanked the people who supported him throughout the case while making it clear he remembers those who didn’t.
According to Tigger, nearly three decades of his public reputation gave people plenty of information to judge his character before reacting to the allegations.
What Happened Between Big Tigger and Alicia Brown?
The case stemmed from a May 9 dispute at the home Tigger shared with Brown.
According to allegations described in the arrest affidavit, the argument reportedly began over text messages involving a female co-worker.
Brown alleged that Tigger used force while moving or shoving her during the dispute, causing her to stumble into an office door.
She claimed the incident left her with a cut above her left eye that required stitches.
Tigger has denied the allegations.
Big Tigger Was Arrested in June
Sandy Springs police arrested Tigger on June 20 in connection with the allegations.
He posted a $10,000 bond later that day.
Footage connected to the confrontation later circulated online, leading to significant discussion across social media as several public figures weighed in.
Despite the public attention, prosecutors ultimately decided not to move forward with the felony aggravated battery or misdemeanor child cruelty charges.
The decision closes the criminal case unless circumstances materially change.
Big Tigger Says His Trust Is at an ‘All-Time Low’
Although the criminal case is over, Tigger suggested the experience has changed him personally.
He said the past several months taught him a lot about who actually supported him when his reputation was under pressure.
Tigger indicated that his trust in new people is now extremely low.
He also revealed that he is currently not dating anyone.
The radio personality said he has removed his wedding band, although he occasionally wears it on his right hand alongside his Oura Ring.
