Asian Doll is pushing back against Jonathan Wright after the celebrity hairstylist publicly named her among the friends he felt let down by while serving time in prison.

Jonathan recently opened up about his friendships during an appearance on the What Now podcast, where he discussed who did — and didn’t — show up for him while he was incarcerated.

He specifically named Asian Doll, Keyshia Cole and Megan Thee Stallion as people whose lack of support disappointed him.

Asian quickly responded, sharing what she described as receipts showing she did reach out to Jonathan while he was behind bars.

Jonathan Wright Says Friends Let Him Down In Prison

Jonathan returned to social media following his release from prison in September.

He had been sentenced to one year behind bars in December 2025 following a gun charge.

During his recent podcast appearance, Jonathan reflected on his time in prison and said it hurt when certain people he considered friends failed to support him.

He argued that if their situations had been reversed, he would have made an effort to be there for them.

Jonathan named Asian Doll, Keyshia Cole and Megan Thee Stallion while discussing those feelings. He also credited Mellow Rackz as someone who did support him during his incarceration.

Asian Doll Shares Alleged Receipts Of Supporting Jonathan Wright

Asian Doll wasted little time responding to Jonathan’s comments.

The Dallas rapper posted screenshots to her Instagram Story that appeared to show messages she sent Jonathan while he was incarcerated.

The alleged messages showed Asian checking in and attempting to maintain contact with him.

She also claimed she sent Jonathan money while he was behind bars, questioning why he would publicly suggest that she failed to support him.

Asian Doll Denies Being Jonathan Wright’s ‘Best Friend’

Asian also disputed Jonathan’s description of their relationship.

She maintained that the two were never best friends and accused the celebrity hairstylist of “lying” and “clout chasing” by discussing her publicly.

Asian then questioned Jonathan’s decision to bring Megan Thee Stallion into the conversation, claiming Jonathan and Megan had not spoken in a long time.

She suggested that Jonathan mentioned herself, Megan and Keyshia Cole because their names would generate attention online.

Jonathan Wright And Asian Doll’s Friendship Turns Public

Jonathan has not been shy about discussing how his time behind bars affected his relationships, but Asian’s response shows the two have very different perspectives on what happened.

While Jonathan says he felt unsupported, Asian maintains that she made an effort to check on him and even provided financial support.

Her screenshots appear intended to challenge his version of events, though the full context of their private communications remains unclear.
