After more than a year of legal proceedings, Anthony Edwards and Ayesha Howard have officially reached a resolution in their child support case.
A Georgia judge has ruled that the Minnesota Timberwolves star must pay $3,222 per month in child support for the couple's daughter, Aubri Summer Edwards, who was born in October 2024.
Judge Sets Anthony Edwards' Monthly Child Support
According to court documents, the Georgia court calculated the child support amount using financial information submitted by both parents.
Anthony Edwards' reported income exceeded $200 million, while Ayesha Howard's income was reportedly listed as zero during the proceedings.
The judge ultimately ordered the NBA All-Star to pay $3,222 each month for the care of their one-year-old daughter.
Ayesha Howard Reportedly Missed Trial
Reports indicate that Ayesha Howard did not appear for the trial and did not present additional evidence to support her claims before the court.
Despite her reported absence, the judge issued a final ruling based on the available evidence and financial records submitted during the case.
Neither Edwards nor Howard has publicly commented on the latest court decision.
Anthony Edwards Has Already Paid More Than $110,000
Although the child support dispute remained active in court, Anthony Edwards had reportedly been making payments throughout the legal process.
According to reports, the NBA star began paying child support in January 2025, initially sending $20,000, followed by additional payments.
To date, Edwards has reportedly paid approximately $110,000 in child support while awaiting the court's final decision.
Long-Running Legal Battle
The legal dispute dates back to late 2024, shortly after Aubri Summer Edwards was born.
In December 2024, a court-ordered DNA test confirmed Anthony Edwards as the child's father.
Months later, court filings indicated that Edwards was not seeking custody or visitation rights and instead wanted to resolve only the financial aspects of the case.
The parents also disagreed over where the case should be heard, with Howard filing in California while Edwards sought to have the matter handled in Georgia, where the case ultimately concluded.
Ayesha Previously Denied $1 Million Rumors
During the lengthy court battle, social media was flooded with claims that Anthony Edwards had paid Ayesha Howard a $1 million lump-sum child support payment.
Howard publicly denied those rumors on multiple occasions, stating that the reports were false.
