50 Cent is opening up about his upcoming documentary, and it looks like one familiar face won't be making an appearance.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, October 13, the rapper and television mogul revealed that his ex-girlfriend, actress Vivica A. Fox, declined an invitation to participate in the documentary exploring his life and career.
The revelation came as 50 Cent discussed his latest projects, including his role as Balrog in the upcoming Street Fighter film and a three-part docuseries reportedly greenlit by Hulu earlier this year.
50 Cent Says Vivica A. Fox Turned Down Documentary Invitation
While discussing the documentary with Jimmy Kimmel, 50 Cent teased that the project would be “super cool” before revealing that not everyone he approached was interested in participating.
“Vivica Fox said no,” the rapper told Kimmel.
He then referenced their past romantic relationship, joking that Fox had remained connected to his public life long after their breakup.
When Kimmel asked why the actress declined, 50 Cent suggested that compensation may have been the deciding factor.
According to the G-Unit founder, Fox allegedly questioned how much she would receive for participating in the documentary.
He also took a playful jab at his former girlfriend, suggesting that she frequently discusses him publicly despite refusing the opportunity to appear in his project.
Fox has not publicly responded to his latest remarks, and her own reasoning for declining the invitation remains unclear.
50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox's Relationship History
50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox briefly dated in 2003, with their relationship attracting significant media attention at the time.
Although their romance was short-lived, the former couple has continued making headlines over the years through interviews, social media exchanges, and public comments about their past relationship.
Fox has previously spoken candidly about her romance with the rapper, while 50 Cent has often responded with his signature humor and occasional criticism.
Their complicated history makes her absence from the upcoming documentary particularly notable, especially as the project is expected to explore the rapper's personal life alongside his career.
50 Cent Prepares for Hulu Documentary Following Diddy Docuseries Success
The upcoming three-part Hulu documentary will turn the spotlight on 50 Cent himself after his success as an executive producer of the 2025 docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning.
During his conversation with Kimmel, the rapper joked about the difference between documenting his own life and the legal troubles surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.
He also teased the possibility of including boxer Floyd Mayweather, another celebrity with whom he has maintained a highly publicized feud.
While Mayweather's participation has not been confirmed, 50 Cent appeared enthusiastic about the project and the stories it could uncover.
The documentary is expected to chronicle his journey from his early days in Queens, New York, to becoming one of hip-hop's most influential figures and a successful television producer and entrepreneur.
An official release date for the Hulu docuseries has not yet been announced.
